Langridge Dry Ground Pigments are noted for their quality of grade and fineness, ensuring maximum tone and chroma. All colours are pure single pigment types with no blending. Langridge supplies traditional earth and historical colours from original sources as well as constantly researching and selecting modern pigments to satisfy artist demand for new colours of vibrancy and intensity.
These dry ground powder pigments are meant for the professional resin artist. It is recommended that you grind them into part A resin using our glass muller on the etched side of the glass slab to manufacture your own resin pigments.
Suitable for use with epoxy resin, Jesmonite, gum arabic and other binders.
For complete dispersion of the powder pigment in its resin binder the use of a muller and slab is essential for maximum durability and performance of the finished resin pigment. As compared to simply mixing the powder pigments into resin, this method offers better consistency and smoothness. You may store the pigments in your own storage jars for future use.
Please take note that if you simply mix the powder pigments into resin with a stir stick, there will be undissolved clumps of pigments. For complete dispersion of the powder pigment in its resin binder, we strongly recommend the use of a pestle and mortar or our glass muller and glass slab.
All the colour pigments are 120ml in volume except Naples Yellow Dark which is sold in 100g. Packed in a glass bottle.
