Make your own resin jewellery from scratch! (2 sessions)
ONLY FOR SERIOUS LEARNERS!
Design and make your own resin jewellery from scratch!
This is a 2 part workshop and participants must attend both sessions.
In the first session, you will learn how to make your own masters using carving wax. Once you have completed your wax masters, you will proceed to make reusable moulds using your masters. Thereafter, you will be introduced to the basics of resin, casting techniques, including how to work with a variety of materials to colour your resin (more advanced compared to our basic resin classes).
In the second session, you will learn the proper techniques to finish your casts. Once the casts are finished and polished, we will teach you have to assemble your pieces into jewellery (if required).
Participants can make:
1) 2 rings OR 2) 1 ring and pendants (carved from a 45 x 38 x 6mm wax block) OR 3) All pendants (carved from a 90 x 38 x 6mm wax block)
Your wax master, silicone mould and casts will all be yours to keep at the end of the workshop.
This price INCLUDESthe assembly component of the workshop so you will not need to book a jewellery session.
All participants can enjoy 10% off resin and mould supplies (except already discounted starter kits or bundled kits) on the day of the workshop.
