Mould-making and casting for resin jewellery (metal flakes available)
Create your own moulds using pre-made masters, and cast resin into the moulds to make a series of jewellery pendants / charms. In this workshop, you will learn mould-making and resin casting techniques. You will also have the option of embedding metal flakes in your pendants.
You will also get to keep the mould that you have made, which can be used many times!
Participants will select their masters from a set of shapes and fill them within a 11cm x 11cm mould box. You can expect to make about 4-8 pieces, depending on the size of your chosen shapes.

Important Note:[Part 2] Post-casting finishing and assembly of the pendants / charms, if required, will have to be done on a separate session after the resin is cured. To book your assembly session, please visit this page.
In part 2 session, we will teach you how to finish your masterpiece with beads / chains / findings etc, using the right tools and methods. . All materials will be provided to complete your masterpiece.
This session is optional - you may not require this session if you already know how to assemble your own pieces, of if you have made something that does not require any assembly.
The finishing is very basic for this session - no extensive sanding or polishing. If you want to learn how to finish and sand your pieces to perfection, we recommend taking this resin jewellery workshop. Alternatively you may arrange a finishing workshop with us for $65.
3.5 hours (depending on pace of attendees). There will be a short 40 mins break at 12.30pm for you to grab a quick lunch while waiting for the moulds to cure.
Participants who have jewellery making experience might take a shorter time to complete their work.
It takes minimally 5 hours for the resin to cure. Participants may pick up their pieces from our studio during our store opening hours once they have fully cured.

We use certified non-toxic, non-hazardous resin in our workshop, which is safe to use for kids too. However, if you are known to be allergic to resin of any form, we do not recommend you to join the workshop. Participants must follow our safety instructions to avoid any harm. We will not be liable for any damages or allergy reactions caused during the workshop.
Cancellation & refund policy:
Wedo notallow cancellations or rescheduling once your slot has been booked on our website. Pleasemake sure that you can absolutely make it for the workshop slot before you proceed to book. No refunds will be given if you do not turn up for the workshop. However, you may get a friend to take your place if you are unable to make it.
