This is a workshop meant for resin artists / jewellery designers who already know how to work with resin, but require more guidance on how to finish their resin pieces professionally.
In this 2-hour session, you will learn the professional techniques of sanding, polishing and drilling resin. We will be using existing resin samples to demonstrate the process. Similarly, you will select your desired samples from what is available to practise the techniques. During the workshop, we will also share and advise the equipment and tools that you will need to do it safely home.
If you wish to bring your own resin samples to finish, please email us to check if it is suitable for this workshop before booking. We will review it on a case by case basis.
Please take note that this workshop only covers techniques for handling the finishing of resin and does not include detailed jewellery assembly techniques. As the objective of this session is mainly to learn resin finishing techniques, you will not be actually designing or making a specific item.
If you wish to design and make a piece from scratch and learn detailed jewellery assembly techniques, you are encouraged to join our 2-session jewellery course which will cover everything from scratch, including designing, making, mould-making, resin finishing and assembling your jewellery pieces.
All participants can enjoy 10% off resin and mould supplies (except already discounted starter kits or bundled kits) on the day of the workshop.
If you are booking for a group of 5 pax and above, please contact us to get a special rate.
2 hours (depending on pace of attendees).
Participants who have any Design & Tech experience might take a shorter time to complete their work.
As we will be using fully cured resin samples to conduct this workshop (which you will bring home on the day of the workshop itself), there will be no collection required.
