We are expanding and looking for new people to join our small but fun team. We currently have 2 roles to fill:

Inventory and Operations Manager (Full-time)

The ideal candidate would posses the following skills and qualities:

  • 1 - 2 years work experience in any field
  • Possess at least a Diploma in logistics / supply chain / accounting / business analytics / merchandising or any relevant discipline.
  • Proficient in using Excel, google docs, Shopify and inventory software (or ideally able to pick up IT systems very quickly)
  • Detail-oriented, highly meticulous and organised
  • Analytical and logical
  • Enjoys problem solving
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently without supervision
  • Able to work fast, multi-task and eager to learn
  • Good with handwork / able to work well with hands
  • Physically strong to carry supplies
  • Effective communication and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • An interest in art is a bonus

Main Responsibilities:

To manage inventory, order fulfilment and other logistics processes to meet our business objectives of optimum inventory management, timely order fulfillment, productivity and hence cost reduction.

Inventory control and management

  • Responsible for planning and implementing warehouse processes, operations and technology/software.
  • Responsible for developing plans to monitor and optimise storage utilisation levels, implementing quality programmes and using data analytics to review efficiency of the warehouse storage and holding inventory.
  • Responsible for integrity of stock, ensuring no discrepancies in stock.
  • Responsible for replenishment of stock, ensuring that stock levels are healthy at all times to prevent stock out situation.
  • Responsible for proper storage and efficient organisation of stock
  • Manage all incoming shipment of stocks, ensuring all received goods are correct, in the right quantity and in good condition.
  • Keep track of stock levels, quantity, delivery times, costs and efficiency of transportation.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, retailers, and logistic partners.
  • Conduct quarterly stock take.
  • Excel reporting of inventory and processes (where required)
  • Admin and paperwork to generate invoices, DOs, POs, etc.

Logistics and Order fulfilment

  • Manage and execute fulfilment of online orders, from start to end, ensuring they are correctly and securely packed and dispatched and received in a timely manner.
  • Arrange courier for online order fulfilment.
  • Prepare and arrange stock deliveries to retail outlets, and ensure that our store displays are fully stocked in a neat and orderly manner.

Other adhoc duties such as:

  • Other packing work: Packing and assembling items
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping in studio
  • Running errands - Purchase supplies, collect items or post parcels at post office, deliver stock, etc
  • Assist the team with workshops, customer service and other studio duties where required

Work Location:

  • Bugis area

Commitment:

  • 5 days a week (Required to work on Saturdays on alternate months)
  • Working time: 9.30am-6.30pm

Remuneration:

  • $2500 to $3000 (depending on experience and suitability of candidate)

    Studio Assistant (Part-time /Flexi hours)

    The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:

    • Detail-oriented, highly meticulous and organised
    • Able to work independently without supervision
    • Able to work fast, multi-task and eager to learn
    • Good with handwork / able to work well with hands
    • Strong enough to carry supplies
    • Able to use the computer (basic proficiency)

    Main duties (but not limited to):

    Workshop duties:

    • Assist with workshops at studio and offsite workshops
    • Set up tools and materials for every workshop
    • Swatching, some simple product photography
    • Assist with social media postings
    • Other workshop duties

    Retail Operation duties:

    • Retail and store operations: Serve customers for sale of art supplies, cashiering, stock take, stock replenishment, etc
    • Shop keeping: Cleaning, tidying up studio, etc
    • Run errands: Purchase supplies, collect items or post parcels at post office, deliver stock, etc
    • Fulfilling and packing online orders
    • Receiving and checking shipments
    • Packing and assembling items
    • Other shop duties

     Work Location:

    • Bugis area

     Commitment:

    • Minimum 3 days a week, required to work on Saturdays
    • Flexible hours can be discussed.

     Remuneration:

    • Starting from $8.50/hour, depending on experience and skills
