Studio Executive

We are looking for a full-time Studio Executive to assist with studio work such as packing and fulfilling of online orders, production, assisting with workshops and customer service. You will also be required to assist in other areas relating to design and marketing.

If you are looking for an all-rounded role with the chance to dabble in different aspects of running an art studio, this might be the role for you!

Please take note that this is a physically demanding job due to the packing and carrying of supplies.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Physically strong to carry supplies (resin jerry cans are about 25KG)
  • Detail-oriented, highly meticulous and organised
  • Great initiative and proactive
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently without supervision
  • Good with handwork / able to work well with hands
  • Able to use Inventory software, Google docs, Shopify platform to manage and track inventory movement (or ideally able to pick up IT systems very quickly)
  • Able to use apps or software (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, MailChimp) to design and create marketing content
  • Proficient at using social media platforms
  • Basic photography and videography skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently without supervision
  • Able to work fast, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and ability to work in a team

 

Qualifications required:

  • 1 year work experience in any field (Fresh grads with some work experience will be considered)
  • No education qualification required as training will be provided, as long as candidate is able to read and write English proficiently

 

Main Responsibilities (but not limited to): 

Studio Operations

  • Ensure safety, cleanliness and organisation of the office and workshop, ensuring that office and workshop supplies are replenished at all times
  • Ensure that everything is in check, working and well-maintained for smooth operation of the business
  • Handle workshop bookings, post workshop follow up and any other enquiries 
  • Assist with ongoing workshops, including set up and clean up.

Customer Service 

  • Serve customers in-store and via phone / social media
  • Assist customers with any order or product enquiries 
  • Handle cash and card transactions

Order fulfilment

  • Pack and fulfil online orders, ensuring they are correctly and securely packed and dispatched and received in a timely manner.
  • Arrange courier for online order fulfilment.
  • Prepare and arrange stock deliveries to retail outlets, and ensure that our store displays are fully stocked in a neat and orderly manner.

Production work

  • Production of in-house products such as pigments, moulds, etc.
  • Packing and assembling items to create final products such as starter kits, etc.

Design / Marketing work

  • Assist with content creation for marketing including emailers. 
  • Assist with social media marketing
  • Assist in the design / creation of marketing collaterals, workshop calendar any other promotional banners, etc.
  • Update website regularly with the latest news

Other adhoc duties such as:

  • Ensure safety and housekeeping in studio
  • Running errands - Purchase supplies, collect items or post parcels at post office, deliver stock, etc
  • Assist the team with workshops, customer service and other studio duties where required
  • Assist with design of collaterals, posting on social media

 

Work Location:

  • Bugis area

 

Commitment:

  • Full-time: 5 days / week

  • Required to work on Saturdays

 

Remuneration:

  • $2000 to 2500 (negotiable depending on suitability and work experience)
