This silicone mat is ultra thick, which is important in resin doming as it provides a more stable base for the resin to level out evenly. (As opposed to very thin mats that can warp or not lay flat on the table, resulting in uneven leveling.)
The silicone mat has a honeycomb structure that minimizes contact with your surface and hence any spills. Even if the resin overflows your surface, cured resin can be peeled off from the silicone mat.
Each mat measures 18.2cm x 18.2cm x 0.6mm thick. Sold per piece.
