Being odourless, BPA-free and the most non-toxic resin in our family, this is the resin that we swear by and use in all our basic workshops.
Non-Toxic 2-in-1™ is an optically clear hybrid polymer resin formulated with excellent UV stability. With a medium viscosity, this versatile resin is suitable for both artwork coating and shallow casting. This resin is ASTM certified non-toxic, solvent-free, BPA-free and odour-free, making it safe for home use when used as directed. It can also be used as a food-safe coating once fully cured. This resin is sensitive to moisture and may cure slightly soft.
This resin can be readily pigmented by the addition of any resin pigments sold in our online store. Adding a drop of resi-BLAST will aid in creating cells and lacing effects.

Specifications
Note: Due to its chemical properties, Non-Toxic 2-in-1™ is sensitive to moisture and may cure slightly soft in humid conditions. To mitigate this, avoid working with this resin on a rainy day. Avoid adding large amounts of pigments, especially tints and alcohol inks, as it may also result in softer casts. If you require a resin for rigid casting, we recommend using ArtCast™ or HeatResist™.
Shelf Life
When stored under dry and cool conditions in sealed packaging, the resin has a shelf life of 2 years. Once opened, the shelf life is 1 year. However, resin does not actually expire. When it is reaching the end of its shelf life, it simply oxidises (turns yellow). Oxidised resin can still be used for pigmented resin pieces.
