Mica Pearl Pigments
Mica pearl pigments are highly concentrated mica-based, cosmetic-grade pigments with a strong metallic lustre. Most of the colours have a pearl-like metallic finish with some sparkles. Colours with "Glitter" in the name are extra sparkly and shiny.
You can vary the amount of powders mixed into resin to achieve different translucencies / opacities.
Interference Pearl Pigments
Create pearlescent, interference effects with these versatile powder pigments. Achieve a variety of effects and colours by simply mixing them into or pouring them on top of darker pigments such as black.
For the most intense colour interference, we recommend mixing black in or using it on top of a black surface, such as our black acrylic coaster base. They can also be combined with our magic colour shifting powder pigments for greater contrast and effect.
Please take note that the effect will be pearl-like (white base) if the powders are used on their own.
Colour Shifting Pearl Pigments
Colour shifting chameleon powder pigments colour shifts when viewed from different angles and / or under different lighting. So magical we'd like to call it Magic Dust! Mix them with dark coloured pigments to achieve a variety of effects and colour shifts.
For the most intense colour shifting effect, we recommend mixing the colour shifting powders with the black pigment into resin, and then casting them into spherical / faceted / dome-shaped moulds. You may also pour them on top of a black resin base or surface, such as our black acrylic coaster base. They can also be combined with our interference pearl powder pigments for greater contrast and effect.
Please take note that the effect can be very mild if the powders are used on their own.
