Part-time Studio Assistant
We are looking for a part-time studio assistant to assist with studio work such as packing and fulfilling of online orders, production, assisting with workshops and customer service. You may also be required to assist in other areas relating to design and social media marketing.
If you are looking for an all-rounded role with the chance to dabble in different aspects of running an art studio, this might be the role for you!
Please take note that this is a physically demanding job due to the packing and carrying of supplies.
Main Responsibilities:
Studio Operations
- Ensure safety, cleanliness and organisation of the office and workshop
- Handle workshop bookings and any other enquiries
- Assist with ongoing workshops
- Pack and fulfil online orders
Customer Service
- Serve customers in-store and via phone / social media
- Assist customer enquiries
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Reply emails and handle admin paperwork
Other adhoc duties such as:
- Ensure safety and housekeeping in studio
- Running errands
- Assist the team with workshops
Candidate Requirements:
- Physically strong to carry supplies (resin jerry cans are about 25KG)
- Detail-oriented, highly meticulous and organised
- Self-motivated, able to work independently without supervision
- Good with handwork / able to work well with hands
- Able to use Inventory software, Google docs, Shopify platform to manage and track inventory movement (or ideally able to pick up IT systems very quickly)
- Able to work fast, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and ability to work in a team
Qualifications required:
- 1 year work experience in any field is preferred
- Fresh grads with some work experience will be considered
- No education qualification required as training will be provided, as long as candidate is able to read and write English proficiently
Remuneration:
- Part-time: $15 / hour
Work Location:
- Bugis area
Commitment:
- Part time: Min. 2 days per week (Weekday)
- May be required to work on some Saturdays
