Claymate Oil-based Sculpting Clay (900g)

Claymate is an oil/wax based modelling clay perfect for sculpting artworks that require some structure, and also ideal for sealing mould boxes.

Claymate provides excellent adhesion and cohesion as compared to other low quality grades of plasticine. This means sculpting layers bond properly and makes it easier when sealing mould boxes.

Claymate is medium to firm grade at room temperature, and can be easily softened with heat to varying degrees of pliability and can be liquefied and poured into moulds. Be sure to stir as you are melting it to avoid separation.

Claymate is also an excellent all round workshop style clay for fabricators, fibreglassers and mould makers.

Claymate is sulphur-free and hence compatible with all our silicone rubbers.

Note: Please take note that due to the manufacturing process, the colour of the clay differs from batch to batch. You may receive one which is lighter or darker than what is shown in the listing photos.
